Play Mass Effect Trilogy for Less Than the Price of a Coffee

Mass Effect fans both new and old have a real treat ahead of them, the entire trilogy for an absolute steal.

Whether you’re a long-term Mass Effect fan who wants to replay the games or if you’re completely new to the series and fancy giving it a go, this deal is one for you.

Right now you can grab a month long subscription to EA Play, a subscription service that gives you access to a wide variety of Electronic Arts games, for less than it’d cost for a coffee.

One simple payment of $0.99/£0.99 is all that’s needed and you can play either the entire Mass Effect trilogy or any other game on the service.

The Mass Effect trilogy found on the subscription service is the remastered collection that launched in 2021, also known as Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Depending on how quickly you get through them it might also be worth checking out Mass Effect: Andromeda after.

Other standout titles include games in the Battlefield series, but not Battlefield 6 unfortunately, or Star Wars games such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Dead Space is also available if you’re in the mood for a horror title.

It’s worth noting that if you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass you actually already have EA Play, as it’s included as an add-on for the higher tiers of the service.

Those on PC and PlayStation can absolutely benefit from this deal though, but it’s only available until 17 November which doesn’t give you long to claim your discounted month.

The Future Of The Mass Effect Series

Now’s a good time to get into the Mass Effect series if you haven’t already as there’s a lot on the way for fans to enjoy.

The big one is Mass Effect 5, which is confirmed to still be in development following Electronic Art’s recent acquisition, and will hopefully perform better than the latest Dragon Age game did.

We still don’t know when it’ll be released but later this year, leading into next year, the live-action Mass Effect TV series will begin filming, so expect some behind-the-scenes leaks of that come 2026.

For something a little more here and now, the hit space exploration game No Man’s Sky recently collaborated with the Mass Effect series to add one of its iconic ships to the game, which you can check out now.

Last week BioWare teased Mass Effect 5 with a riddle that included a number of words when figured out. What it means, we still have no idea.
