Pet a cat for sanity in The 18th Attic (and IRL)

Pet a cat for sanity in The 18th Attic (and IRL)

As you are all aware, the internet is powered by cats, and they are rather useful in the new horror game The 18th Attic, which is out now on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

As the title suggests, you will be exploring a haunted attic armed only with a camera that can uncover the real truth behind the mysterious hauntings. Each picture will reveal unseen ghosts as well as clues and secrets that will tell the story of the attic.

As you can see from the trailer, you will be spooked by all sorts of ghostly goings-on, including an antlered mannequin that has stepped out of the brilliant Hannibal television series.

The USP is that to restore your mental stability, you must pet your cuddly kittie companion. Anyone with a cat will know this is also a very useful tip in real life. You can even customise your cat, in the game that is, if I could do that in real life, I would find the β€œStop meowing loudly for breakfast at 6am” option and quickly turn it off.

comfort and tranquility, especially in stressful situations. It’s fascinating how their purring can actually lower our stress levels, making them not just great companions but also natural stress relievers!
