Atlus announced Persona 4 Revival in June during the Xbox Games Showcase. This remake of the fourth installment in the JRPG franchise does not yet have a release date, but its development is progressing at a satisfactory pace.
This was stated by director Shigeo Komori during an interview recorded at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. He also stated that this new version will be enjoyed in a different way compared to the original title.
“Persona 4 Golden already had a lot of content. So when it comes to creating the new version, it’s not just a matter of adding more. We have to create an experience that is enjoyable in a new and different way. And that includes the sheer volume of content, so to be honest, it’s a difficult challenge. But things are looking good!”
