While it was originally scheduled for release on October 9 on consoles and PC, Painkiller has ended up being delayed at the last minute. 3D Realms announced the delay of its FPS in a new trailer.
The game will now be released on October 21, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The video also gives us a glimpse of Rogue Angel, a roguelike game mode that will be separate from the main campaign.
It’s always disappointing to hear about delays, but hopefully, this extra time will lead to an even better experience. Looking forward to seeing what the developers have in store for us!
