Blizzard Entertainment is getting ready to enter a new era with Overwatch 2. The American company has confirmed that the game will be renamed Overwatch starting with the next season, which begins on February 10, 2026. To mark this reboot of sorts, the title will restart at Season 1.
Other details were also revealed during the Overwatch 2026 Spotlight. Ten new heroes, cosmetics, features, and many other new additions are on the agenda for this approximately 35-minute broadcast.
Finally, a native Switch 2 version will be released this spring.
