Even though it was originally scheduled for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC on April 23, Outbound has finally been delayed just one week before its release on these platforms.
Square Glade Games will now release its exploration game, featuring a relaxing atmosphere and co-op gameplay, on May 14, 2026. The developers simply need a little more time to ensure a smooth launch across all platforms.
The demo will remain available until May 12.
Thanks for sharing this update! It’s always a bit disappointing to hear about delays, but hopefully, it means the game will be even better upon release. Looking forward to seeing what Outbound has in store when it finally arrives!
