Ontos is Soma Developer’s Next Horror Game, Out in 2026 and Featuring Andor’s Stellan Skarsgård

Ever wondered what Frictional Games of Soma fame has been up to since the release of Amnesia: The Bunker? As it turns out, another horror game with perhaps its most disturbing imagery yet. Check out the world premiere trailer for Ontos below.

Coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC in 2026, it stars Stellan Skarsgård of Andor fame and takes place in a repurposed hotel on the Moon. It’s not clear what’s going on, but there’s plenty of body horror mixed with cyberpunk and gruesomeness. And you thought the first trailer for Larian Studios’ Divinity was disturbing.

Stay tuned for more details on Ontos soon. In the meantime, you can check out our review for Amnesia: The Bunker, where players must survive in a World War 1 bunker while chased by a horrendous creature. It’s pretty free-form as you can experiment and outsmart the monster to survive (or die repeatedly and brute force your way through).
