Saitama and his friends return, getting up to some shenanigans and colossal fights. This week, Disney+ announced that One-Punch Man Season 3 will premiere on Sunday, October 12th, streaming on Hulu/Disney+. Most of the main cast and staff from the second season are reprising their roles. The season will be produced by J.C.Staff, with Shinpei Nagai replacing Chikara Sakurai as the director, Sakura Murakami replacing both Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama as the art director, and Yuki Hirose replacing Yoshio Ōkouchi as the director of photography. A special recap covering the second season is out now, as Season 2 aired between April and July 2019.

After three years of “special training,” he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong—even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama performs his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association.

One-Punch Man Season 2 left off when monsters claiming to be from the Monster Association suddenly appeared, taking a child of the Hero Association executive hostage. The S-class heroes gather and plan a raid on the Monster Association hideout to rescue the hostage. Meanwhile, Garou, a “human monster” who was taken by the Monster Association during a battle with the heroes, awakens in the Monster Association hideout.

One-Punch Man Season 3’s opening theme song is “Get No Satified!”, performed by JAM Project featuring Babymetal, while the ending theme song is “Soko ni Aru Akari” (‘The Light, That’s There’), performed by Makoto Furukawa. For anyone who has been keeping up with Babymetal, this will be a treat to hear them featured in this new opening.
