The list of PS Plus Premium and new PS5, PS4 classics without trophies continues to grow as one publisher refuses to support the feature. Itâs Bandai Namco Entertainment again, and this time, with no trophies for the lone October 2025 classic, Tekken 3.
No Bandai Namco PS Plus, PS5/PS4 classics have supported trophies thus far
We werenât expecting Tekken 3 to come with trophies since neither Bandai Namco nor Capcom is interested in adding the feature in any of their classics. But that hasnât stopped fans from expressing disappointment.
âNo need to buy the trophyless games as my tablet can run PS1, PSP emulators just fine,â wrote one player on PSNProfiles. âLike Capcom, Bandai Namco also doesnât see any value in older games and that is why they donât want to pay for a trophy patch,â a fellow trophy hunter theorized.
One PSNProfiles user reportedly contacted Bandai Namco to ask why its classics donât have trophies, and was allegedly told that the publisher doesnât have a dedicated team to support retro/classic games. While thatâs understandable, we wonder why Sony hasnât stepped in if this is true.
