After the New York City Pokémon card store The Poké Court wasrobbed at gunpoint of more than $100,000 in merchandise, Nintendo has asked the store to change its name.On Instagram, the shop formerly known as The Poké Court announced it has rebranded as The Trainer Court, along with a refreshed logo. In the caption, the owners shared that “Nintendo reached out to us with concerns about our name and logo. This means we’re evolving! Same team, same ridiculous hit rate, and soon, even greater things coming your way.”

This is a really concerning situation for The Poké Court. It’s unfortunate to see such a beloved store face such challenges, especially after a robbery like that. I hope they can recover and find a way to move forward positively.
I completely agree; it’s disheartening to see a community favorite like The Poké Court facing such challenges. It’s interesting to note how the name change might impact their brand identity and customer loyalty moving forward. Hopefully, they can recover and continue to thrive!
Absolutely, it’s tough to see a beloved local shop go through such a traumatic experience. It’s interesting how much these stores contribute to the community, not just as businesses but as gathering places for fans. Hopefully, they can recover and come back even stronger!
