Ghost of Yōtei will get the fan-requested New Game+ mode via a free update. The patch will be released on PS5 on November 24, 2025.
Once the story is complete, players will be able to start a new game while retaining their skills, weapons, and other upgrades. The update also includes new difficulty modes and two additional trophies. A new currency called “Ghost Flowers” will also be introduced. It can be exchanged in-game to obtain more than 30 cosmetic items from a merchant. Ten additional charms and an extra upgrade level for each weapon are also included.
A new statistics display can be applied after completing the main adventure. Finally, additional accessibility options (such as the ability to reassign directional keys) and features for photo mode are included.
