New Bloober Team game is not a Rule of Rose remake, CEO says

Bloober Team — the studio behind 2024’s Silent Hill 2 remake,Cronos: The New Dawn, and the in-progress Silent Hill remake — is working on a new project. After a teaser featuring a red rose appeared last week, fans began speculating that the upcoming title could be a remake of Punchline’s 2006 psychological horror game, Rule of Rose. The game has earned a bit of a cult following over the years, and given how well Bloober has handled the Silent Hill franchise, it’s not exactly a stretch to suspect the studio may have another remake of a beloved Japanese horror title in the pipeline.
