Naruto is such an appealing story, with incredible world-building and a vast number of memorable characters. While the main story is definitely focused on Team 7, especially on Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha (although Sakura Haruno is arguably a third protagonist in Naruto), many secondary characters were able to win the hearts of fans. Rock Lee is definitely a great example of how a side character could become one of the most iconic in the franchise.
