More PS Plus Games Set To Go Offline, Play Them While You Can

Earlier this week, we reported that a PS Plus September 2025 game has already been given a shutdown date. Publisher 2K announced that WWE 2K25 will only remain online for another 1.5 years. Included in the announcement was a list of 2K games scheduled to go offline, three of which are also PS Plus games alongside WWE 2K25.

Several PS Plus games will shut down per the following schedule

We’re highlighting this schedule because: a. Those working on trophy completion might still need to pop multiplayer trophies, and b. If you’re like me, you add games to your library and forget about them. This is your reminder to give these games a shot before they go offline, if you’re even remotely interested in them.

  • NBA 2K25 – added to PS Plus Essential in June 2025, shutting down on December 31, 2026
  • PGA TOUR 2K23 – added to PS Plus Essential in August 2023, shutting down on February 28, 2027
  • WWE 2K24 – added to PS Plus Essential in October 2024, shutting down on January 5, 2026

As a reminder, PS Plus Essential games remain in your library forever and can be played anytime with an active PS Plus membership. WWE 2K25, which will go offline on March 14, 2027, is the only game planned for shutdown that was released as part of the Extra catalog.
