Moonbirds Schedules BIRB Token Launch for Early Q1 2026

In Brief

Token Launch: Moonbirds plans to debut its native BIRB token on the Solana blockchain in early first quarter of 2026.

Company Growth: Owner Orange Cap Games is branching into physical collectibles and trading card games, targeting substantial revenue growth.

Strategic Partnerships: Collaboration with established collectible distributors and grading agencies is paving the way for Moonbirds’ integration into new market areas.

During the Solana Breakpoint 2025 conference, Spencer Gordon-Sand, the CEO of Orange Cap Games, announced that Moonbirds will introduce its BIRB token on the Solana network in early 2026. This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance their NFT ecosystem significantly. “Our native token is coming early Q1 [of] 2026 as we pursue growing toward being a multi-billion dollar company doing billions of dollars of revenue like Pop Mart does, being the Pop Mart of web3,” stated Gordon-Sand. This ambitious plan underscores Orange Cap Games’ aim to match the revenue milestones of leading industry players.

Revenue Growth and Strategic Acquisitions

Since acquiring Moonbirds in May, Orange Cap Games has pivoted towards diversifying its product offerings, significantly tapping into physical consumer products inspired by their digital NFTs. The company projects an $8 million revenue this year with expectations to increase to approximately $20 million the following year, thanks to new agreements with various distributors. These developments are a testament to Orange Cap Games’ strategic shift from purely digital offerings to mixed-platform consumer products.

Leveraging Partnerships for Expansion

Orange Cap Games is looking to integrate Moonbirds with existing and new product lines, including a planned expansion into the Vibes trading card game, featuring Moonbirds-themed items next year. The Vibes game, originally based on Pudgy Penguins, has already generated about $6 million in revenue over the past twelve months. Furthermore, the company has established vital distribution agreements with major industry players such as GTS and Star City Games and is also partnering with prominent grading agencies like CGC and PSA to bolster its market presence. Through these collaborations, Orange Cap Games is poised to broaden its influence not only in digital spaces but also in the physical collectibles market and trading card games sector, transforming NFT assets into tangible, profitable products.
