Monster Hunter Wilds, Monster Hunter Stories 3 Appearing at New Showcase on December 8th

It’s a season rife with reveals, especially with The Game Awards coming up on December 11th. Before that, Capcom will host a new Monster Hunter Showcase on December 8th, 2 PM PST, revealing new details about its current big two in the franchise.

The first is Monster Hunter Wilds, which has Title Update 4 coming on December 16th. It adds the Gogmazios, the Giant Halberd Dragon, to the game, making it the first Elder Dragon threat in the Forbidden Lands. There’s likely to be other threats to hunt, and maybe more details on upcoming seasonal events, but Capcom has clarified that it will focus on the Title Update.

So stow those hopes of an expansion teaser (at least until The Game Awards). Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will also receive new details ahead of its launch on March 13th, 2026. Considering we’ve seen the likes of Rey Dau, Chatacabra and even Yama Tsukami from Monster Hunter 2, it should be interesting to see how else shows up.
