Monster Hunter Wilds is getting over 100 improvements in terms of performance

Still heavily criticized on this issue, Capcom is attempting to solve the Monster Hunter Wilds performance issues on PC and consoles with update 1.0.4.00. It will be rolled out on December 16 across all platforms.

Capcom promises over a hundred performance improvements for players, monsters, NPCs, effects, and the interface. All machines will benefit from optimized use of their processors and graphics cards.

Note that the number of simultaneous effects on screen will be reduced to optimize processing time, and collision detection will be revised, which should all should result in improved performance.

In January, the PC version will receive new graphics and processor settings. Options will allow for faster loading of elements. Optimizations will be made to VRAM usage and the High Definition Texture Pack.

Finally, in February, Monster Hunter Wilds will benefit from several LOD (level of detail) options for 3D models on consoles and PC to make the game less taxing on the GPU.
