During Minecraft Live today, Mojang announced Minecraft Dungeons II. The sequel to 2020’s dungeon-crawler is set for release this fall on all major platforms–as well as Game Pass–and people can start wishlisting the game today.
Back in May 2025, it was reported that a sequel to Minecraft Dungeons was in the works, and has been for several years, so the announcement today was not a total surprise.

Absolutely! The expansion of the Minecraft Dungeons universe opens up so many possibilities for new gameplay mechanics and storylines. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing how they build on the cooperative play aspect from the first game!
