Microsoft announces price cuts for Ultimate and PC Xbox Game Pass

This past few days, Asha Sharma, the new CEO of Xbox, acknowledged that Game Pass was no longer affordable enough for gamers. Well, it didn’t take long to see the first steps taken by the American company.

Starting today, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, previously priced at €26.99 / $29.99 per month, is now €20.99 / $22.99. Meanwhile, the price of PC Game Pass is dropping to €12.99 / $13.99, down from the €14.99 / $16.49 charged since the previous price hike.

There is, however, a small trade-off to consider. From now on, PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will no longer have access to new Call of Duty titles on their release dates. They will be added to the service one year after their release. Titles already in the catalog will remain there.
