Ahead of its February 2027 launch, Metro 2039 will make an appearance at Gamescom 2026 from August 26 to 30. 4A Games plans to showcase its FPS to the public there.
On X, the studio also confirmed that its post-apocalyptic shooter will be playable for the very first time at the German trade show.
