Nintendo has released a new update for Mario Kart World. Bringing the title up to version 1.3.0, the update brings with it a host of new features, including the ability to join friends who might have been playing Knockout Tour for some online multiplayer. There have also been a host of other improvements made to the game.
The update has primarily focused on quality-of-life changes. For example, players can now keep a track of the P Switches in the world through the Free Roam map. Players can also quickly fast travel to a P Switch theyâve previously run over. UFO encounters will also be easier to find in Free Roam mode, while Peach Medallions also got some adjustments when it comes to the requirements for their appearance.
This latest update is a follow-up from update 1.2.0, which was released back in July. That update also focused quite a bit on quality-of-life enhancements, such as letting players know when theyâve gotten all collectibles of certain types, as well as multiplayer improvements like mid-race intermissions getting a waiting timer.
Mario Kart World was one of the launch titles for the Nintendo Switch 2. The title has proven to be incredibly popular, with Nintendo confirming that it had sold more than 5.5 million copies in its first month. For more details, check out our review.
