Marathon Confirmed for March 5th, Deluxe and Collector’s Editions Detailed

After prematurely leaking earlier today, Bungie has confirmed that Marathon will release on March 5th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The Standard Edition retails for $39.99 with pre-orders receiving three ZERO STEP cosmetics (a 004 CE Tactical Sidearm Style, RC Weapon Charm, SHIFT Weapon Sticker) and two APOGEE INTERCEPT items (background and emblem). Check out the latest trailer below.

The Deluxe Edition retails for $59.99 and includes a voucher for the Premium Rewards Pass, 200 SILK Rewards Pass Tokens, two MIDNIGHT DECAY weapon skins (Misriah 2442 Pump Shotgun Style and Overrun AR Style), and four MIDNIGHT DECAY Shell Styles for the Vandal, Thief, Assassin, and Destroyer. Of course, there’s also a Collector’s Edition that’s exclusive to the Bungie Store for a whopping $229.99, which includes a Thief Runner Shell Statue, a miniature WEAVEworm, postcards, an embroidered patch, and more.

A Limited Edition Marathon-themed DualSense controller will also become available at launch for $84.99. Pre-orders start on January 29th at 10 AM local time via PlayStation Direct.

If that wasn’t enough, the English cast has been revealed with some pretty heavy-hitters, including Baldur’s Gate 3 alumni Neil Newbon and Jennifer English, alongside Ben Starr of Final Fantasy 16 fame. Roger Clark, who played Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, and Craig Lee Thomas, Super Earth’s spokesperson from Helldivers 2, are also onboard.

Don’t worry, though – all other supported languages will be fully localized with more details on their cast members to be unveiled later.
