There’s a big patch about to be rolled out for Mafia: The Old Country this week. The Free Ride update is coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC on November 20, 2025.
The Free Ride mode features several challenges separate from the main story that will allow players to revisit the game world with greater freedom. These combat, infiltration, and even racing challenges can be replayed at will. Successfully completing a challenge will earn players a virtual currency called dinars. These can then be spent on outfits, lucky charms, vehicles, and even weapons.
In the main campaign, this free update adds a first-person view while driving. In addition, the Cinema Siciliano mode will change the experience to immerse players in a classic Italian film, with a black and white filter and vintage sounds.
A classic difficulty level has been added for a greater challenge, as well as new items.
