Another day, another video game release for PlayStation 5 gamers to look forward to. This new release will excite fans of Lovecraftian horror, as Big Bad Wolf’s latest adventure game, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, is out right now on the PlayStation Store.
What is Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss?
Developed by Big Bad Wolf and published by Nacon, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is a story-driven adventure game where players play as Noah, an investigator who will test their mettle against the mysteries that await him at R’lyeh.
Here is a trailer and description of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, giving PlayStation players a glimpse of what to expect from the Lovecraftian adventure game:
“In this tense Lovecraftian thriller, you play Noah, tasked with investigating the mysterious disappearance of miners in the depths of the Pacific Ocean. Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is available now on the PS Store. There is a Standard Edition available for $49.99, which only includes the game. There is also a deluxe edition called the R’yleh Edition, which includes the base games and several other goodies. Here is everything included in the R’yleh Edition, which costs $59.99:

Developer Big Bad Wolf is based in Bordeaux, France, and was founded in 2015. The studio is known for its two video game releases, The Council and Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. Both games didn’t set the world on fire, but didn’t absolutely bomb critically.
