Lost Soul Aside Update Fixes Awkward BGM Transitions in Cutscenes, Adjusts Visual FX for Final Boss

Ultizero Games remains hard at work on Lost Soul Aside, which launched late last month after over a decade in development. Hot off an update that adjusted Arena’s dialogue frequency, a new patch is available addressing even more significant issues, including the odd BGM transitions in some cutscenes and UI elements stretching out of bounds on ultra-wide screens.

Further balance adjustments continue to roll out, from the shields in Chapter 4’s Entropis Dimension lasting longer to its boss arena receiving some mechanical adjustments on Nightmare “for a better combat experience.” Greatsword users are also good with a more “optimized” invincibility window while using skills.

Some visual effects in the final boss fight also proved a little too bright and have since been toned down. And Epic Games Store players who couldn’t claim their pre-order and Deluxe Edition rewards can now do so.

Check out the full update notes below for more details. Lost Soul Aside is available for PC and PS5 – check out our review, where we gave it a seven out of ten.
