Case in point, Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition, a Nintendo Switch 2 port of 2023’s Layers of Fear. It’s out on December 19th for $39.99.
Yes, it shares the same name as the first game and even includes it alongside Layers of Fear 2 and all the DLC. The key difference is that the new version connects all these stories courtesy of a new protagonist, The Writer.
