The Silent Hill franchise has come a long way. After a rough patch in 2005 and 2022 marked by mediocre, forgettable, or canceled games, the series made a strong comeback with a remake of the second installment in 2023.
Konami recently announced the latest figures for the franchise. Silent Hill 2 has sold 6 million copies (as of April 24, 2026), and Silent Hill f has sold 2 million units (as of April 22, 2026).
These very positive results should ensure a bright future for the series. The next installment, Silent Hill: Townfall, is set to be released this year.
