Konami wants to release around one new Silent Hill per year

Silent Hill is back in full swing. The remake of the second installment was a critical success, and Silent Hill f was also very well received when it was released last September.

In an interview with Famitsu, Motoi Okamoto, the franchise’s producer, said he would like to see a new game released every year.

“Following the release of Silent Hill 2 in October 2024, we were then able to launch Silent Hill f in September 2025. This allowed us to get the Silent Hill series back on track.”

“Including announced and unannounced titles, our goal is to release about one title per year.”

“Although it remains to be seen how much we can achieve this, I will do my best as the producer of the Silent Hill series. Ideally, we would like to see enthusiasm for Silent Hill continue to grow. We will do our best to keep you informed, and we thank you for your patience.”

Among the next eagerly awaited games of the saga we have Silent Hill: Townfall from Annapurna Interactive and the remake of the first Silent Hill from Bloober Team.
