Introducing Elengard: Ascension, a real-time RPG in the vein of Dragon Age: Origins

Elengard: Ascension is a role-playing game that focuses on combat that’s been in early access on PC since January 19.

Here, players are immersed in a medieval fantasy world, participating in battles that combine action and strategy. So far, the gameplay has been compared to that of Dragon Age: Origins and Neverwinter Nights. It’s important to note that this is not a hack and slash or Souls-like game. Battles can be played automatically or manually.

The game also features multiple-choice dialogues, main and side quests, and advanced avatar customization. Trading, crafting, and enchanting items are also on the agenda.

Finally, generative artificial intelligence has been used for all the character voices. The goal is to replace them with human voices in version 1.0.

I agree, the comparison to Dragon Age: Origins really highlights the depth players can expect! The real-time combat element could bring a fresh twist to the traditional RPG experience, making battles more dynamic and engaging. I’m curious to see how they balance strategy with real-time action!
