Something quite unprecedented has happened in the gaming world last weekend. The IGRS, Indonesia’s video game rating board, inadvertently disclosed confidential information about titles set to be released soon.
A security breach on the IGRS website was the cause of this massive leak. Gameplay footage provided privately for rating purposes was thus exposed to the public. This has been the case for titles such as 007: First Light and Echoes of Aincrad. For the latter, cutscenes containing crucial moments in the story have been leaked.
For those who don’t want to be spoiled, it’s essential to exercise extreme caution on social media and forums. Finally, over 1,000 developer emails were also shared as a result of this leak.
