Sony is kicking off the summer announcements season with a brand-new State of Play. Without further ado, here’s a rundown of the key details for this episode.
The State of Play will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch this Tuesday, June 2, 2026, starting at 10 p.m. BST / 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT. The event will last over an hour and focus on PS5 exclusives, as well as titles from third-party publishers.
Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel’s Wolverine will be showcased during the event with new details and gameplay footage. Rumors also suggest the presence of a new God of War developed by Santa Monica Studio and a possible return of Fairgame$, now titled Break In.
As for the rest, we’re still in the dark. Rayman Legends Retold could make an appearance during this State of Play, and many are hoping for news on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Naughty Dog’s upcoming game. The remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica could also be there.
