How To Save Space When Installing Battlefield 6 On PC Or Console

As the size of video games continues to expand thanks to greater resolution textures, uncompressed audio, and more detailed 3D models, space on hard drives is more of a premium than ever. Some especially large titles have begun to adopt the approach of letting players pick and choose what is installed to help save on that coveted storage, and Battlefield 6 is no different.

By default, on Steam, when you click โ€œinstall,โ€ all the components will be installed, but on console, you will be able to pick and choose what parts you want from the single-player campaign, multiplayer, and the high-res textures for both. However, once you install them, removing the various parts is hidden away a few menus deep, and unless you know the option is available, it isnโ€™t immediately clear that you can, outside of the fact that once you beat the campaign, Battlefield 6 lets you know you can uninstall the campaign, accompanied by a big button.
