The mature comb has three juvenile combs hiding across the Alien Ruins region feeding viral infections into the mature comb, and while you’ve probably run across two of them in the course of exploring, the third is rather more difficult to find. You’ll need a new tool and an upgrade to clear the juveniles and handle the mature comb, so it’s not something you can do as soon as you reach the area.
