Homelander Actor On Resident Evil Fancasting: “I Don’t Even Know What It Is, Man.”

Antony Starr–best known for his role as the manipulative, nefarious Homelander in The Boys–is apparently the ideal actor to play series antagonist Albert Wesker in a film adaptation of Resident Evilโ€ฆ according to fans, anyway. But Starr seems rather bewildered by the notion.

To be fair, Starr sort of brought this on himself. At a recent convention, a fan reportedly told him he’d make a great Wesker, and Starr apparently expressed interest in the role. But in a recent interview ahead of the fifth and final season of The Boys, Starr dialed back the enthusiasm.

“I don’t even know what it is, man,” Starr said of the Wesker role in a recent interview with ComicBook.com.
