In a new blog post today, publisher Team Cherry announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version of their Metroidvania game Hollow Knight, scheduled for release in 2026.
This version will offer technical improvements such as better resolution, higher refresh rates, and other graphical effects. Owners of the Nintendo Switch version will be able to get this update for free.
Hollow Knight was originally released in 2017 and started out as a Kickstarter project before becoming the hugely popular game it is today.
