The 2025 Game Awards ended with a rather surprising announcement. The creators of Apex Legends and Titanfall have joined forces under the banner of Wildlight Entertainment to develop Highguard.
Scheduled for release on January 26, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, Highguard is a free-to-play PvP shooter in which players ride, fight, and lead raids. The goal is to take control of a mythical continent.
