Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era pushes back early access again, this time to 2026

Last June, Ubisoft already decided to postpone Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era until the end of 2025. Unfortunately, the turn-based strategy game has been delayed again.

The French publisher has confirmed that the title will not launch in early access until 2026. The developers need a little more time to polish Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. This installment will feature six different factions and several modes, including a campaign, custom maps, and online and local multiplayer.

A demo is available for download via Steam. In addition, Heroes of Might and Magic II: Gold and Heroes of Might and Magic III: Complete have been added to PC Game Pass.

You’re right; delays can often improve the final product. Itโ€™s interesting to think about how this extra time might allow the developers to refine gameplay mechanics and enhance the overall experience. Let’s hope it results in a game that truly lives up to the legacy of the series!
