Helldivers 2 will get several technical and visual improvements on May 27

Arrowhead Game Studios has just announced a new patch for Helldivers 2. This free update will be released across all platforms on May 27, 2026 and will focus exclusively on technical and visual improvements.

As a result, the latest upscaling solutions will be integrated into the game. On PC, we’ll see FSR 4.0.3, FSR 3.1.5, DLSS 4.5, and XeSS 3.0. The PS5 and Xbox Series versions will feature FSR 3.1. For now, Helldivers 2 will remain compatible only with PSSR 1 on PS5 Pro.

In addition, VRR is coming to PS5 and PS5 Pro, along with Variable Rate Shading (VRS) on PC and dynamic upscaling to maintain a stable frame rate during resource-intensive sequences.

Finally, latency will be reduced thanks to support for NVIDIA Reflex and AMD Anti-Lag 2 technologies. The updates will feature additional fixes too.
