Halo: Campaign Evolved will be released in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. It’s a remake of the first game running on Unreal Engine 5 with modernized gameplay. There will even be new content.
In the meantime, several videos recently posted on YouTube offer a comparison of this new version with older ones. The channel “ElAnalistaDeBits” compared Halo: Campaign Evolved with Halo: Combat Evolved from 2001 and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary from 2011.
Unveiled last week, Halo: Campaign Evolved currently has some flaws. The gameplay video shows frame rate drops and a few audio issues. All of this can of course be fixed before launch.
