Many fans were disappointed to learn that the GTA VI physical edition, set to go on sale on November 12, will contain only a code and not a disc. This decision may have been made by Take-Two Interactive to prevent leaks and other spoilers.
However, the website PPE.pl, citing insider Graczdari, reports that a physical version with a disc will indeed be released this year, and it could arrive as early as December on PS5 and XBOX Series X. The version with a download code is said to be merely a “one-off” to ensure a more efficient launch without leaks.
In the past, Graczdari has provided accurate information about Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for PS5, Oblivion Remastered, and Sonic Racing: Crossworlds. He had also mentioned the lack of a physical release for GTA VI. If a boxed version does indeed come out, the absence of a disc proves him right. He is therefore a relatively reliable source.
