GTA 6 Delay Wasn’t Bad for Everyone – IGN Daily Fix

In today’s Daily Fix:Gamers around the world collectively groaned when Rockstar Games announced GTA 6 would be delayed into 2026, but it wasn’t bad news for everyone. Speaking to MinnMax, Ghost of Yōtei’s co-creative director, Nate Fox, admitted that the delay was good news for his team. Yōtei is scheduled to arrive this fall, around the same time as GTA 6, and no one—not even another Triple-A game—wants to go toe-to-toe with what could be the biggest video game launch of all time. In other news, Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ expansion, Claws of Awaji, arrives next week, and the devs are excited for you to take on the new bosses. Some of them are even inspired by classic Metal Gear Solid boss fights. And finally, Nintendo has a new Direct scheduled for this Friday, just in time for the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Will we finally get a release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond?
