Great Free PS5, PS4 Game Quietly Released by Bandai Namco

Free PS5, PS4 game Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently dropped a solid free PS5 and PS4 game, and it may have flown under some people’s radars. Players are encouraged to check out Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, a 4v4 multiplayer action game. And no, you don’t need PS Plus to play it.

PS5, PS4 players are loving Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, and it’s completely free

From what we’ve seen so far Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra isn’t one of those low-effort free-to-play games, and player reception certainly confirms this. On the PS Store, the game has earned 4.38/5 stars based on well over 6,000 verified ratings. That’s no small feat considering how fussy players can be.

“Enter the world of Dragon Ball by bringing your favorite characters’ earth-shaking strength to the battlefield, and join up with your friends and allies to defeat your opponents and dominate the objectives,” reads an official overview. “Grow your strength throughout each round, unlock game-changing attacks and abilities, and obliterate enemy players and bosses alike.”

There are, of course, microtransactions in Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra but you don’t need them to enjoy the game.

For some reason, there aren’t a lot of critic reviews to go by, but the few we’ve seen are very positive.

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra is developed by Ganbarion.
