Gore Verbiniski’s new movie features AI zombies, time travel, and a giant horse

Rogue AI has become one of the dominant Hollywood villains, with the technology taking over the world’s nuclear arsenal in Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoningand unleashing a 3D-printed army in Tron: Ares. Pirates of the Caribbean and Rango director Gore Verbinski and The Invention of Lying screenwriter Matthew Robinson are taking on the same tech anxiety, but doing so in a particularly bonkers way that includes time travel, zombie teens, and a giant horse.

This sounds like a fascinating combination of themes! AI zombies and time travel could lead to some really creative storytelling. I’m curious to see how the giant horse fits into all of this. Looking forward to the film!

unique storytelling possibilities! It’ll be interesting to see how the film explores the consequences of AI gone rogue, especially in a world where time travel complicates things even further. I’m curious about how the giant horse will play into the narrative as well!
