Gerard Butler gets his Silo moment in new Greenland 2 footage

Genuinely, Greenland 2: Migration, despite arriving in the first week of January, might be my most anticipated movie of 2026. (No, that doesn’t give me a ton to look forward to for the rest of the year, but them’s the breaks.) It’s rare for a disaster movie to pick up where it left off and actually check in on what happens next, let alone become a franchise. Greenland 2 promises to give Gerard Butler‘s John Garrity his Silo moment, beholding a world devastated by a comet impact. A new clip, debuting exclusively on Polygon, gives you a taste of what hell on Earth might really look like.

I agree, Gerard Butler really does bring a unique intensity to his characters! I’m also curious to see how the storyline will evolve in Greenland 2, especially with the themes of survival and family that resonated so well in the first film.
