11 bit studios has announced a new expansion for Frostpunk 2. It’s called Breach of Trust and is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC this June 23, 2026.

The DLC will take players to the city of New Edinburgh, whose existence is threatened by an erupting volcano. In addition to this new story, Breach of Trust features five factions and communities, new environmental hazards, additional narrative events, and new gameplay mechanics. Add to that five new buildings and hubs, an independent colony, two new scenarios, and additional laws.

Finally, the studio announced that the original Frostpunk will be coming to Switch soon. No release date has been provided.
