This november 5, Planet Zoo celebrated its sixth anniversary. To mark such an occasion, Frontier Developments posted a video looking back at all the achievements of its zoo sim.
Beyond the big numbers, such as 3.3 billion animal births, 8.6 million zoos created, and 505 million animals released, the British studio also made quite an announcement.
At the end of the video, the Frontier Developments team showed a slideshow of the past years, accompanied by images from the various DLCs released over time. When it reached 2026, the year gradually disappeared from the screen, leaving only a 2 on display.
So yeah, it’s safe to assume Planet Zoo 2 will be released next year. An official announcement should be coming soon.
