Free PS5, PS4 Demo Released for Quirky 2025 Game

Musical Vibes RX free PS4 game demo (PS5 compatible)

The PS Store has dropped a free PS5, PS4 demo for an unusual 2025 game that might be worth checking out. Musical Vibes RX, which was heavily promoted by the ID@Xbox program, is a dance/fitness game with a unique twist: it requires connecting your smartphone to your console and using its camera.

Musical Vibes RX free PS4 game demo (PS5 compatible) available now on PS Store

Canadian developer ZikWave Studios Inc. claims that Musical Vibes RX, which is also available on Xbox, Switch, and PC, is available on both PS5 and PS4. However, there’s no native PS5 version (not that it needs one) — just a PS4 version playable on PS5.

“Get ready to move with Musical Vibes RX, the new version of Musical Vibes — the first-ever dance game to let players use the camera of their smartphone connected to their console,” reads an official overview. “Originally released in June 2023, the original broke new ground — and now RX takes the experience even further!”

The game costs $6.99 on PS Store, but if you’re into games like Just Dance, it’s probably worth trying the free demo first to see if it’s for you. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but here’s a trailer for those interested:
