Forza Horizon 6 Announced, Ventures to Japan in 2026

After rumors and the odd, unintentional hint about the same, Playground Games finally announced Forza Horizon 6 for launch in 2026. As many suspected, the Horizon Festival’s newest destination is Japan. Check out the first teaser trailer below.

There isn’t much information to go on, save for the reveal of Mt. Fuji in the distance. Going by previous titles, there may be a new Showcase Event that involves the location in some way. Either way, we’ll learn more details next year, so stay tuned.

Forza Horizon 6 is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and is also coming to Game Pass on day one. It will “launch first” on those platforms and somewhere down the line for PlayStation 5. Microsoft brought Forza Horizon 5 and other first-party titles to Sony’s console earlier this year to great success, with many more likely to follow, so this development is hardly surprising. Check out our review for the PS5 version here.
