The next musical experience is coming to Epic Games’ favourite battle royale game. The Daft Punk Experience is a new immersive tribute coming to Fortnite, opening its doors on September 27th. This event celebrates the Grammy-winning duo’s iconic sound and vision by bringing a fully interactive playground to Fortnite. The event starts at 2:00 PM ET, with doors opening to the pre-event lobby at 1:30pm ET. Some visuals and audio in the Daft Punk Experience are courtesy of NASA and The Recording Academy.
The Daft Punk Experience gives fans and players a chance to enter into this retro-futuristic realm, celebrating the band’s legacy reimagined for the virtual world. Remix Daft Punk’s previously released music and create mashups of Daft Punk’s songs within Fortnite at Dream Chamber Studios, blast hordes of robots with a soundwave laser in the Robot Rock Arena, make a LEGO music video at Around the World, or hit the Daft Club to dance ‘til dawn. You will also find furniture from longtime Daft Punk collaborators Hervet Manufacturier throughout the experience.
Apparently, there will also be an afterparty to the virtual event, but details will be coming closer to the event date. They specified in the FAQ that this is not a live concert event like previous events. Rather, it is an interactive music experience featuring Daft Punk’s iconic music. This also means the duo is not getting back together to record new music, as all songs in Fortnite have been previously released.
Groove into the future with the Daft Punk Bundle in the Fortnite Shop starting September 25th at 8:00 PM ET. All items in the Daft Punk Bundle will also be available individually. It includes everything you need to rock and rave until the sun burns out, including:

LEGO Fortnite’s first-ever music-reactive build, the Daft Punk Pyramid Build, will also arrive in the Shop on September 25 at 8:00 PM ET.
