Five games, including The Ascent, will be leaving Xbox Game Pass in January

While new games will be coming to Xbox Game Pass soon, others will be removed from the subscription-based service. Microsoft has revealed the five titles that will be affected.

The following games will be removed around January 15, 2026. They include highly acclaimed titles such as The Ascent and Road 96.

  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Neon White (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Road 96 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • The Ascent (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • The Grinch: Christmas Adventures (Console, PC, Cloud)
